New Program Ideas
New Program Ideas
OAR is frequently approached by individuals and organizations looking to establish new program opportunities for the incarcerated and recently released. OAR is eager to explore new program opportunities that lead to better outcomes for those we serves. However, we must consider many factors such as the:
- Investment of time and resources requiredÂ
- Â Feasibility of program implementation
- Impact on the population we serve
We are unable to accommodate or implement all new program ideas. We will review all proposals and participate with those that best align with our mission, strategic priorities, and projected client outcomes.Â
If you would like to propose a program idea to OAR please provide the following:
- A brief synopsis of your purposed program
- A description of how the program will benefit OAR clients
- A description of the target population for the program
- A description of your process for connecting/interacting with the target population
- A list of the resources needed for the program
- A description of the funding needed and a list of the source(s) of funding
- Information to show the program is evidence based or adheres to best practices
- A description of how the program will be evaluated and the outcomes to be achieved
You may submit the above information by email to Dana Hayden, Director of Programs, at dhayden@oarnova.org.
