Service Coordinator Application

Volunteer to provide a welcoming presence and professional services to OAR clients and visitors

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum age of 18
  • Non-judgmental attitude toward offenders and their families
  • No substance abuse issues within the last 2 years
  • Incurred no arrests, convictions, incarceration probation or parole within the past 2 years

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work with others cooperatively, be personable, and communicate well
  • Teachable
  • Proficient in an office environment
  • Ability to function independently when given a task or multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet and process incoming clients and visitors
  • Answer phone calls, emails, faxes and voicemails
  • Provide emergency services for walk-in clients (food, hygiene products, clothing, and public transportation)
  • Schedule appointments
  • Process payments both over the phone and in person
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail 
  • Maintain, update and create new profiles in the OAR client database
  • Complete data entry for OAR client participation and statistics
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front lobby
