Most of us see the upcoming New Year as an opportunity to make changes in our lives. We promise ourselves we’ll do things differently. Sometimes those resolutions get lost in our busy lives and we return to our old habits. But, when we’re able to make and keep our promises to ourselves, our lives are inevitably changed for the better.
In light of this tradition, we want to introduce you to one of our many important programs: Impact of Crime. IOC is centered on making lasting, positive change in the lives of justice involved- individuals, their families, and their communities.
IOC is an educational and rehabilitative program designed to assist justice-involved individuals in taking responsibility for their actions based on the concept of restorative justice. Restorative justice programs encourage taking responsibility, fully understanding the harm you’ve caused, making amends, and avoiding causing future harm.
