                                                OFFICIAL RAFFLE RULES   

             These are the official rules for the OAR of Fairfax County, Inc. 50th Anniversary Fundraiser Raffle

1. Eligibility: The OAR raffle is open to individuals 18 years or older. OAR staff. volunteers, interns, and work-study students are eligible to participate with the exception of the Executive Director and Director of Development.
2. Agreement to Abide By Official Raffle Rules: Each eligible person who enters the 50^th Anniversary Fundraiser OAR raffle is a “Ticket Holder.” By entering into the OAR raffle the Ticket Holder fully accepts these Official Rules and agrees to perform all conditions and obligations required by these Official Rules. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
3. 50th Anniversary Fundraiser Raffle Period: The OAR raffle begins on March 25, 2022 and ends on May 19, 2022.
4. How to Enter: Any Eligible Person may enter the 50th Anniversary Fundraiser Raffle by obtaining an official raffle ticket or ticket number during the 2022 raffle period. Raffle tickets may be obtained in the following manner: (1) purchasing a ticket from an OAR staff member or authorized representative or (2) by purchasing a ticket through the OAR at Tickets will be available for purchase on the website until May 18, 2022 at 5:00pm.  Participants purchasing tickets online will receive an email confirmation of their purchase and official ticket numbers.  Tickets may be purchased in person at the 50th Anniversary fundraiser until the drawing is held.
5. Raffle Ticket Price: Tickets are priced as follows: 1 ticket for $5.00 or 5 tickets for $20.00. There is no limit to the number of tickets one individual can purchase. Checks and or credit cards that are denied or returned for insufficient funds or other reasons will be subject to a $25 penalty and the raffle ticket will be void until payment is received to cover ticket and penalty fees.
6. Refunds: Ticket sales are final. No payments will be refunded. Entries must include payment at time of purchase to be eligible.
7. Prizes: Prizes include but are not limited to a night at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington DC, dinner at Filomena in DC, four tickets to 5 Wits Arlington, and a 20-person private tasting at Total Wine and more.
8. Selection of Winner: The winning tickets will be randomly selected from all submitted tickets on May 19, 2022 at the OAR 50th Anniversary fundraiser at or about 8:30 p.m. EST. The drawing will be held as scheduled, regardless of the number of raffle tickets sold.
9. Winner Need Not Be Present to Win: The winner of the 2022 OAR raffle does not need to be present at the drawing in order to win. The winner will need to provide proof of identity.
10. Claiming the Prizes: The prize winners will be notified in person if present at the 50th Anniversary Fundraiser event. If the winner is not present, up to three phone call attempts will be made to contact the winner at the number provided on the raffle ticket stub.  If phone contact is unsuccessful, up to 3 emails will be sent to the email address provided on the raffle ticket stub.  If contact cannot be made, a letter will be mailed no later than June 1, 2022 to the address provided on the raffle ticket stub informing the ticket holder of his/her winning status.  The winner has until August 30, 2022 at 5:00pm to claim the prize.  If the prize is not claimed and redeemed by that date, then the prize is automatically forfeited, and OAR will select a new winner at random.  All drawing and winner selection results are final.
11. The odds of winning: Odds depend on the number of raffle tickets sold.
12. Publicity: Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for OAR to use the winner’s name, hometown, photograph, and/or testimonial for promotional, advertising and/or publicity purposes in any media, now or hereafter throughout the world in perpetuity, without compensation or notice to, or further consent of, the winner to the extent permitted by law.
13. Disqualification: OAR reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the 50th Anniversary Fundraiser raffle if any fraud or other problem corrupts the administration, security or proper play of the Raffle, as determined by OAR in its sole discretion. OAR also reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the raffle or to be acting in violation of these Official Raffle Rules
14. Release: Except were prohibited, each Ticket Holder agrees to release and hold harmless OAR and its officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the 50th Anniversary Raffle or receipt or use of any prize.
15. Limitations of Liability: Except where prohibited, each Ticket Holder agrees that the released parties are not responsible for: (a) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Ticket Holder or printing errors; (b) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the 50th Anniversary Fundraiser Raffle; (c) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the 2013 Raffle or the processing of entries; or (d) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from Ticket Holder’s participation in the 50th Anniversary Fundraiser Raffle or receipt of any prize.
16. Disputes: Ticket Holder agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with the 50th Anniversary Fundraiser or any prize awarded there under, shall be resolved individually between the ticket holder and OAR, without resort to any form of class action; (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred to purchase raffle tickets
